This was a first for me today when I jumped on the scale. This morning it read 288.50 which means I didn't lose/gain any weight. Normally I'd be disappointed about being stagnant but I'm not. I'm actually OK with it. After the Christmas weekend and multiple holiday parties I manage to escape it without gaining a pound. I really wanted to lose a little weight during this time period but this is the next best thing.
One More Holiday to go! For New Years I'll be going away again to see family for a 4 day weekend. For me this is one last obstacle before I go back on my routine. Since I'm running a 5k on Saturday with my nephew I expect to either lose a little bit of weight or stay at the same weight again. I will weigh in on January 2nd to determine if I lost any weight and to start with a fresh number for 2013. Along with spending time with family and having fun I'll be thinking about goals I need to shoot for in the coming year. I will post a concrete list some time later next week.
PS- I won't be around a computer very often for the next few days but I do want to try and post some pictures and race results for the 5k I'll be running in tomorrow. I checked the weather and its forecasting 22 degrees and possible snow showers. Time to layer up!
Congratulations on controlling your weight through this very difficult time! That's a real accomplishment.
